When I was a wee little gal,I wanted to be many things when I grew up,among them was a Gypsy (the others were a Cowgirl and a Gold Digger,and I didn't mean a woman of questionable character marrying old men and living in Vegas,I meant a gal who went out with a gold pan and dug/panned for gold:)
For some odd reason,all those things require being outside and traveling,two things I still very much enjoy.
Which could be why I love camping so much.
Even though this is one of the most hectic times for Manly,he is trying as hard as he can to take a few days and take me camping.
So,while dreams of outdoor cooking and tent living dance through my head,I wanted to show you how some people camp:

Four room tent for us. We've not made it out to camp this year. Kind of a bummer but at least we have done a bit of exploring. Love all those choices of what you wanted to be when you got older. So cute!

I so hear you on the heat Hesper. I made Glenn pack his cooler full of water, Gatorade, frozen watermelon, etc. I really don't like it when he is out in this kind of heat. He will be glad when it's done for the year also. We must look after our guys. :)
ReplyDeleteSign me up for the Pod - that's my style of camping these days. I appreciate a soft bed and no bugs buzzing around in the dark, guess that shows my age. Camping is wonderful but this girl needs a good night sleep or she's an unhappy camper in the morning.
