Its That Time of Year.....

If you are one of my first followers of my blog, you know how I feel about White Christmas trees.
I cant explain my obsession with them, but I just think they are the cat's meow...
Now, I grew up with exclusively real trees, and I do mean real...they were cut down from our land up on the hill, once decorated with the whole family, they were beautiful and homey.
I always loved the real trees.
However, when I moved to the Land of No Trees, a fake tree needed to be bought, and I knew that a White One it would be.
Manly promptly said "Yeah, sure, they look neat".
My obsession with the trees continue, their possibilities of decorating are endless.
Not to try to talk you into one...but maybe just give them a chance...
From Classy to Homey to Retro, they can fit into your home whatever the style.

Well, is there one that jumped out as a favorite?

~ A New Favorite Thing ~

Anyone who has known me long, knows I like my cup of coffee in the morning.

But, the rest of the day, I love me a cup of tea.

A cup of tea calms me, even if its in a go-cup in a cars cup holder.

Recently, I have discovered a brand of tea that makes me love tea all the more.

I first discovered it in a P.F. Chang's in Boise, they serve this delicious brand of tea in their lovely teapots right to your table.

When I got home, I found their website and quickly ordered more of their tea and its now my new favorite thing.

Here are a few of my favorite flavors ( however I feel silly saying that, because all their teas are just scrumptious, and every time I have a cup of tea, I say "Oh, this is my new favorite flavor" :)

SO yummy!

I love this tea, it smells like Christmas and a cozy fireplace and all things nice...

This tea smells like summer time and just tastes so good...
There is so many other delightful flavors so please check out their website!

( I am not getting any kickbacks for telling you all about this tea, I just think its all so yummy and had to share with some of my favorite people :)

So I hope you all are having a wonderful Monday and don't forget to....

A Mournful Heart And Busy Hands.....

Dear Ones,

I have been absent from the blogging world for a time, and I am sorry.

However, about ten days ago, I received the most shocking and disheartening news.

A very dear friend of mine was taken quickly away from our world in a accident.

I was blown away.

She was more then a co-worker and a friend, she was a mentor as well.

She just one of those ladies, who had a giant heart and always had the answers and just was always there.

I don't know what else to say, dear ones, this is still a blow to me, so I will simply move on to another subject...

Bus rides, layovers in bus stations and other such things did leave time for the healing act of knitting...and Boy Howdy am I knitting!

These are a pair of Moss Stitch Cable Socks (this is the class I took recently)

Because I am a ADD knitter, here is another pair of Moss Stitch Cable Socks that

I have started...

I still have to finish this poor little lonely guys mate...

Someone has offered to pay me to make them pairs of socks out of these

yarns...

And of course, that just simply wasn't enough, so

I had to start to make my first pair of mittens...

So,friends, With a Mournful heart, I knit.

And with time and yarn, I will heal...

Also, with Kitties like Edie Lou its hard to be sad for too long,

she just knows exactly where to hide and pounce out at the right time to bring a smile to my face.

Yesterday morning I went in the bedroom to get a pair of socks and this is what I found....

She is such a funny girl, isnt she!?

My friends, you are dear to my heart.

I will not go away for so long this time.
