The Pantry

We know we love kitchens and porches here on this blog.
But, I have another room that I desire after for the perfect farm house.
The Pantry.
The pantry was highly important in any home before modern refrigeration and microwave dinners.
Its stored canned goods, but also your bread dough set aside for a overnight raise.
Milk and eggs were stored there as well as usually a side of fresh or cured meat hung awaiting for dinner or breakfast.
Also, a place where you brought the fresh veggies from the garden for that nights supper.
A fairly roomy pantry in your farmhouse is essential in my opinion and here are some beautiful pics to get you salivating and dreaming.

So, do you already own your dream pantry?
How important is a pantry to you?
Which one of the above is your favorite?
Have a great day!

  1. My choice is the second one. It's beautiful. I've never seen one that big, actually. Which is your fave?

    1. I know! its huge!
I am slightly partial to the third one, because I think a full butlers pantry would be so awesome!

  2. I'm sot sure I could pick just one. Just having more space and one to turn around in would be an absolute dream. :)

  3. I dream of a butler's pantry myself . . . would love to make one out of our mudroom off the kitchen if i could ever find the money to have the washer/dryer relocated. My pantry right now is very narrow, very ugly and what's worse, is located directly behind our kitchen door so you usually get hit with the door during the summer as the kids go in and out!

  5. Okay super love all of them! Our goal is to have a pantry stuffed with jars filled from the garden. I'm continuing to work on making this a reality.
